The CipherLab CPT84XX series (CPT8400 / CPT8470) portable barcode data collectors have super fast direct USB download and SD card support for huge lookup files plus months, even years, of data storage. This means you have instant access to data even if you choose the cheaper batch model with no WiFi - you can download tons of data in seconds - typically symoltaneously as you can upload tons of new data in seconds (e.g. new orders, jobs, stock lists, etc.).
Within the CPT84XX range there is the option of WiFi and standard Bluetooth for live data access, both of which can also be used for printing and other peripheral access.
The CPT8400 excels as a batch terminal for 100's of data collection activities. It can transfer lookup files with lightning speed (e.g. 1,000 stock records in 4 seconds - 30,000 stock records in less than 40 seconds) so is ideal for stock taking any size of business.
