How do readers work? Aim the scanner at a bar code - it beeps and types in the bar code number, and even presses ENTER for you.

Simply present the bar code to the scanner (i.e. shove it in front of the scanners red window) and you will see a red laser line appear automatically - and as you move the bar code (i.e. move the form) across the laser line, the bar code is read.

Note: The bar code reader gives two pieces of feedback that the bar code has been read - an easily audible beep sound and a highly visible green light.

PS/2 interface? Scanner plugs between PC and keyboard. No drivers needed, and no software changes needed - start reading bar codes today. USB is better.
