The CLP 8301 is designed for all those times when you need to print up to 8.6 inches (220mm) for example an 8-inch (200mm) or 6-inch (150mm) wide label.
Typical applications include pallet labels (Odette, SSCC), chemical drum labels and A4 or A5 sized labels. Also widely used as a continuous laser replacement printer for delivery notes and picking lists in warehouses using the optional 'tear wait' or autocutter options.

The Citizen CLP-8301 features a unique modular design that is flexible and expandable allowing for a wide range of interfaces and accessories.
Standard interfaces include a parallel and serial port (up to 115Kbps), optional 1284 parallel and universal serial bus. The optional PCMCIA card allows the printer to be used in stand alone unique applications. Therefore, the user can load keyboard or personal computer.
Optional features include an internal rewinder, peeler with "present sensor", label and tag autocutter and a ribbon saver mode.
