Industrial means - it is faster, has more accessories that industry would use; internal rewind unit, clock, etc. (also could be said it can take a few knocks).

An internal rewind unit allows you to pre-print loads of labels. Instead of the labels poring on to the floor, you can 'rewind' them back on to an empty cardboard tube (i.e. creating a roll of printed labels). This is ideal if the labels are destined to be used on a machine - that needs the labels on a roll.

Note: All printers (including these thermal label printers) last much longer if kept in a suitable environment - dust and grime free.

If you are going to rely on these printers, or any printer, you must think about what will happen on the day it stops working.

Repairs can take 3 days to a couple of weeks or more. Obviously, in an emergency you could buy a replacement - but that is not very good planning and you have still lost up to a whole day of production.

TIP: Plan ahead - buy two printers and you will enjoy complete peace of mind (plus the ability to either print 2 different sizes of labels, or the same size twice as fast, or in different work areas).
